What do I mean when I say, "Let's Just Live for Each Other?" Well I'm talking about the way most people are so wrapped up in their busy lifestyles, that they forget about whats' really out there.
So many people don't even get to relax and enjoy their family and friends due the constant stress of their jobs and the whole go, go, go expectations the world seems to be enthralled with.
I think we all need to just get back to basics, so to speak. When your working all week and finally get those days off; a lot of people still feel backed into a corner because their days off become nothing but work too. You know house work, yard work, vehicle work.
Well, just take a day and say, " The heck with it! I'm doin' something fun today!" Don't talk yourself out of it and bring the kids, they'll appreciate it. Money's tight, no problem have a barbecue or turn the sprinkler on and have a water fun day. Have a picnic by your garden or on your deck! Ask the neighbors over to watch the game. Call that cousin you haven't seen in 6 months and ask them over for a movie night!
It doesn't really matter what you do, just cut loose and let the stress run off our shoulders for at least a day. You'll be happier and healthier for it. I know I recently had to quit working because of health issues. 7 years ago the doctor tells me cut back the stress dramatically or get ready for a heart attack or possibly stroke. So I finally did, I changed professions. But I also had to force myself to find at least a day out of the hectic week to just do something relaxing.
I know it's hard to do for all those people that just go a million miles an hour or nothing gets done right? Well, force yourself to just let it go, you'll feel better, even your mood improves. I'm a single parent and it doesn't get much hectic than that but if we all just slow down for a moment, you'll find life doesn't have to be a blur.
Thanks for reading and have a good one!
