It's summertime and those pesky blisters are a-foot! (haha) You can blisters anytime of year and anywhere on your body, however your feet and hands tend to take the brunt of the blistering. Those things can make it hard to walk or grasp onto everyday items if you leave them untreated. There are a couple of home remedies I like to use, Aloe Vera or Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with onion.
For this treatment you'll want to grin or smash the onion meat into a pasty substance. Then add about a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Mix them together and apply your paste to the blister directly. This is going to dry it out and help with the stinging.
Aloe Vera also helps dry your blisters out and acts as an astringent too. It generally takes a little longer to dry out with Aloe. Another home remedy to use, which my grandma used a lot, is Castor Oil. Yes, Castor Oil; just put it on the blister before bed and it drys it up quickly.
Remember, if your blisters are infected you may want to visit your doctor or local clinic. There are many home remedies for everyday ailments that work great! Try to keep your feet dry and wash your hands and feet regularly to help prevent blisters.
