So I haven't been on in a while. Sorry, but I've been under the weather. Until now, I'm back up and getting on again. I hope to see this government meltdown is over soon. It's not effecting me very much but it's effecting many other people. National Parks being closed and monuments being over run by police and closed. This is ridiculous, come on put your big kid britches on and come to an agreement!

Other than that, it's getting colder now. Fall is turning into winter and my garden is feeling it! Unless you have a greenhouse, it's time to get ready for winter! Wrap those strawberries and peppers up for the winter chill. You can use plastic or even cardboard; as long as its thick. You put it in the ground about a few inches into the soil around the plant so that it sleeps for winter but doesn't freeze. 

I hope everyone is having a great beginning to winter and spread some cheer to anyone you see down!
