Hi there everyone, getting a little behind in the last two weeks. My mom got sick, was in the hospital for a week and then after emergency surgery, she's out. So that's good; I've been bleaching her house and taking care of all chickens and my cat. We have 5 new baby chicks, 4 Leghorns and 1 Banti. Got all her new medications and off to the doctor next week. It's been hectic but we just keep moving. That's how you get through tough stuff, just keep moving.

I've been harvesting the peppers and cucumbers like crazy for a week too. Wheww! It's a doozy but the garden is huge and producing so much we've been giving bags of food away for a few days. Which is great! Peppers are expensive in the store and every little thing helps. Hope everyone's day goes well and I'm off to take a much needed nap.
